Integers are sized and signed or unsigned (i8..i128, u8..u128, isize/usize). Floats are f32/f64. `char` is a 4-byte Unicode scalar. Overflow panics in debug builds and wraps in release builds unless you use checked_, wrapping_ or saturating_ methods.
